A close game ended with Saints claiming all three points. Saints took the lead early on but was denied by a poor call from the lino, a recurring theme for the rest of the game, Florin put us ahead not long after with a looping finish over the keeper, Claydon equalised not too long after. Some good play from the Saints sees Ross Metcalf put a high ball over the Claydon defence that was volleyed first time by Hayden Crispin to top left of the goal, this resulted in Claydons manager again demanding the flag to go up, to his despair it didn't and Saints go in 2-1 up. Second half and again some nice play from the away side, Craig Sugden running the ball from our half and past all Claydons defense and ending it with a fine finish to bottom left, not even Claydons newly substituted lino could put his flag up. Some good play again sees Terry Payne put through one on one with the keeper, a nice turn around the now seated goalie sees Saints 4 -1 up. Claydon got back into the game with 2 late goals to put pressure on the Saints defence, but with strong defending the final whistle went.
